The best way for you to be a PART of the healing process and to actually help ACCELERATE the healing is by EDUCATING yourself and your Inner Manager. You have to sober it up and retrain its drugged out mind so that it is no longer DEPENDENT on the HIGH it gets from your Restless Legs Syndrome. And you ABSOLUTELY want to make sure it doesn't just DEVELOP some NEW way of getting high. Keep in mind that your Inner Manager is NOT the enemy. It's part of who we are. It's simply a survival mechanism that HELPS to ensure that we keep living. Its original function was not to STOP every attempt we make to change and move forward. Its actual function is to SLOW that change down so that it can be sure that we will arrive at our NEW destination safely. To move beyond your RLS, the best way to educate your Inner Manager is by CONTINUALLY reading about the HEALING ABILITIES of the vitamins, herbs and minerals that I have listed on THE DAILY INTAKE web page. There you'll find a DETAILED account of each of the supplements and their healing abilities. This will help TRAIN your Inner Manager to UNDERSTAND and allow rather than REACT and push back. Once you have purchased your vitamins, herbs and minerals, print out the file WEEK1.pdf and read that EVERY DAY (if you're starting with the pretest, then do the exercises for Curcumin, Cayenne and Ginger Root only). Ignore ALL of the REASONS as to why you need to SKIP the reading on a particular day. Whatever your excuse is, READ it anyway. When you're reading the information about the herbs and minerals, don't worry about all the TECHNICAL jargon. The key here is to CONTINUALLY educate your mind about the VERY REAL healing of inflammation that IS taking place inside of you. I realize that it's not likely that you're going to do the readings and the affirmations EVERY day. My hope is that you do ... but time seems to SPEED UP when we have a daily routine that we attempt to follow. It also tends to get painfully boring after several days of reading the SAME thing over and over again. If you can't find the 20 minutes it takes to read the info and say the statements, read what you can ... even if it's only information on ONE herb or mineral. Don't fall into the trap that it has to be ALL or NOTHING. ANY reading you can do will be of GREAT help to you! Don't let the resistance or the boredom PUSH you back. Don't buy into its excuses. Think of the NIGHTLY HELL you've been living for the past several years. Use that as a motivator to keep MOVING FORWARD! As I mentioned earlier, my suggestion would be to SPREAD the readings throughout the day. The best scenario would be to read ONE THIRD in the morning, ONE THIRD midday, and the LAST THIRD before you go to bed. If that's too hard to schedule into your day, then try splitting the readings in two. HALF in the morning and HALF before bed. The most important thing is to DO IT. Do WHATEVER you can WHENEVER you can. In the big picture, it's a very small investment of time. EVERY time you read about the herbs and minerals, you have taken another small step out of the HORRIBLE RUT that is Restless Legs Syndrome. |
