The herbs that are included in your daily intake are VERY mild. I wish they were more powerful and could heal you in a couple of days ... but it's not going to happen. Nature has its own pace that we must adhere to.

Because of this mildness, it is crucial for you to make a pretty large sacrifice ... at least for a couple of months.

To the best of your abilities, you must cut out, or at least lessen the intake of as many RLS antagonists as you possibly can. This includes caffeine, sugar, msg, gluten, salt, aspartame and recreational drugs. You need to cut out alcohol consumption during this period as well.

I also highly recommend that you back away any pharmaceuticals that you're taking for your RLS. You don't have to do this all at once. Try and lessen the dosage as your tolerance will allow. Check out the web page on natural dopamine agonists to find out how you can wean off your Requip, Mirapex etc. without affecting your dopamine levels.

It may sound impossible to many of you. However, it's NOT forever ... it's only for a few months in order to give your body the PROPER SPACE it needs to heal the inflammation that is causing your restless legs.

The consumption of these antagonists will continually irritate the existing inflammation.

Continuing to drink coffee, take drugs and consume alcohol etc. is the equivalent of having a sunburn and standing out in the sunshine, waiting for the sunburn to fade away.

Metaphorically, you have to stay indoors for awhile, in order to allow your sunburn to heal.

Once your inflammation has lessened, it will be business as usual. But, for the first while, it is ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL that you allow the herbs to heal you unhindered.

It's definitely worth the short term discomfort!
